CONGRATULATIONS !! The WINNERS of the 2025 Mermaid League are FAIRLIGHT B.C.

The Runners-up were GULLIVERS B.C. with TENTERDEN B.C. in 3rd Place

Welcome

The Mermaid Bowls League consists of ten clubs based in East Sussex and West Kent, and kindly sponsored by the Mermaid Inn, Rye. The Clubs are based between Bexhill to the West & Hamstreet to the East.

Matches are played on a home and away basis between teams of mixed triples. The season starts in May and goes through to the middle of September. The Mermaid Bowls League and its member clubs are noted for fair play and genuine sportsmanship.

2025 League Winners

Fairlight B.C ~ The League Winners for 2025

Steve Worobec, Captain of Fairlight received the Trophy & a Cheque for £250 from Judith Blincow the owner of the Mermaid Inn, who kindly continues to sponsor the League.

2025 Runners -Up

Gullivers B.C ~ Runners Up Jeff Coates, Captain of Gullivers, received a £100 cheque from Judith Blincow on behalf of the Mermaid Inn our sponsors. Also, in attendance was Colin Goldsack Chairman of the League & Derek Lawrence, Secretary of the League

2025 3rd Place

Tenterden B.C ~ 3rd Place Prize

Geoff Witham, Captain of Tenterden received the Third place prize cheque of £50.

Members from the League Clubs sat down to an enjoyable Presentation meal.
